In respect to judging, Cathy Harper is a leading expert in the world of show jumping. She has officiated many times at the North American Championships for Junior and Young Riders and the Nations Cup CSI5* in Wellington, Florida. She was a Ground Jury member and foreign judge at the American Olympic tryouts and has also judged the qualifying tests for the World Cup three times in Las Vegas, eight times in California and twenty times at the Bromont International horse shows. Cathy has led and participated in numerous trainings at the national and international levels and she won the Aramis Trophy in 2014 in the "Official of International Level" category.

Gisèle Pagé
Gisèle became a senior Equine Canada hunter, jumper and equitation judge in 1996. A keen equestrian official, Gisèle also competed as an amateur in adult hunter classes and senior jumper classes at both the regional and provincial level. In 2011 and 2012 she showed in the United States in Lake Placid and Wellington.

Judy Covert
Judy is a life long horse woman having competed in all EC hunter and jumper divisions. She is an EC Senior Judge in Hunter, Jumper, Equitation and Hack and has judged in national and international competitions, including Wellington, Florida. She owned and operated Briarwood Farm for many years, which was a 45 stall boarding, training and breeding facility just outside Halifax. All three of her daughters also competed in hunter and show jumping, including Canadian team member, Angela Covert.

Vanessa Paschini
Member of the long list for show jumping Canada from 2003-2006, Vanessa Paschini competed among the best riders in the world, ranking as well as Olympic riders during qualifications tests for the World Cup and Grand-Prix. In 2008, she obtained Equine Canada accreditation as a hunter and equitation judge. In 2016, she obtained the status of senior judge in Canada and Judge R in the United States. She judges an average of ten competitions during the summer season.

Carrie Bova
Born in the Maritimes, Carrie Bova is an Equestrian Canada certified senior judge who enjoys a great reputation in the industry. Holder of many championships, particularly in Ontario, she left her riding career to concentrate on coaching and breeding, creating Foxbridge Farm in Ottawa in 1998. She trained numerous riders, including her daughter Natalie, with great success, particularly during the national finals of the CET Medal in Toronto. Carrie also judges in the United States on the winter circuit in Wellington.

Andy Christiansen
Andy was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. He grew up surrounded by horses and was a junior jumper rider in South America. He is now a USEF hunter and a Jumper licensed course designer and an FEI jumper course designer. He has been course designing at many prestigious horse shows such as the Winter Equestrian Festival, Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, Vermont Summer Festival, Kentucky National and Thunderbird horse show.

Jessica Hunter
Jessica Hunter brings her extensive competition experience into her course designing. She is a successful hunter competitor showing in first the Children's division and then the Adult Amateur division at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. She spends most of her time in the jumper ring these days competing at the FEI level in 2018 and other prestigeous venues, including Wellington, Florida. Her course designing has been influenced by Werner Deeg and Chris Brandt. She has been course designing for 7 years at a variety of venues across Canada, including Bromont, Blainville and Amberlea Meadows.

Marie-Claire Goyette
Registered steward for almost ten years, Marie-Claire Goyette obtained her senior status from Canada Equestrian in 2015. Her passion and experience for the equestrian world kept her active at different levels including riding in hunter amateur divisions and dressage. She was also accredited as an instructor in 2007 and certified as an Equi-Quality assessor. Marie-Claire has a certificate from GIFE; equine training at the Université de Montréal Veterinary Medicine Faculty.

Jean Renaud
Senior Steward certified by Equestrian Canada, Jean sees his role as ensuring that the competition runs smoothly, doing safety prevention and acting as a representative of Equestrian Canada . He trained with Patricia Chalmers (FEI-3) in the 2015 season and he deepened his knowledge with Jan Stephens (FEI-3) accompanied by Anne Welch, Frances McAvity and Sue Hawes in 2016. Most recently, he attended a clinic with Shirley Pederson (FEI-2) in Ottawa.Since then, he has travelled to several regions of Quebec as an official. Jean hopes that this event will be a constructive and educational experience for all of you and your horses.
